Tips from a "soon-to-be-proficient-student" that you may or may not follow.

TIP #1: TIME MANAGEMENT

Trust me, or maybe not. I am absolutely bad at this. But who does not want to get get better in managing their time anyways? Tracking one's time and breaking down heavy tasks into small ones will help finish things easily and effectively! If you set you time when to work and when to take a break, you'll be more efficient!

TIP #2: TAKE OCCASIONAL BREAKS

This is the tip that I love the most - Breaks! Taking occasional breaks every after heavy workload is important! Feeling burned out is something that we all should avoid. Aside from it is keeping us from finishing our tasks, it can also harm our health.

I recommend you doing the pomodoro technique. It works for me and it might work for you too!

TIP #3: SET DEADLINES

I do this all the time. Whether it's setting an alarm clock at a specific time or marking your calendar to remind you when to finish your job, setting deadlines is super important! And if you're a procrastinator, setting your own deadlines earlier gives you the reason to work on it before the deadline!

TIP #4: MAKE AN EFFECTIVE PLAN

Make sure to plan ahead. Make a schedule. When should I be resting? When should I be working and how long? How many tasks a day? What task have I finished? Those kind of things should included in your plan so you can monitor things with ease. It will help you feel less anxious as well. In short, be organized.

TIP #5: BE HEALTHY

Eat healthy foods, exercise, and proper sleep helps your brain function and makes your body energized to start and finish your tasks. So what are you waiting for? Grab that apple while reading this!
